Plano Convex Lens also known as flat convex lens is designed for parallel light convergence. The focal length of a single plano convex lens is the distance from the main point to the focus. The design wavelength of the lens is 546.1 nm (e line of the green mercury spectrum). Because the focal length varies with wavelength, it varies with other wavelengths when used. The M at the end of the model number is a lens with an anti-reflective coating.
